A battery operated automatic can opener. Once it is clipped into place, one simply touches a button to activate the device which spins around the can and simultaneously opens it without leaving any jagged edges behind.
Advantages
- can open many oddly shaped cans
- great for those that do not have the endurance to continuously spin ordinary can opener handles
Disadvantages
- batteries need to be replaced occasionally and may run out at the most inconvenient times
- snapping the opener onto the edge of the can may be difficult
